Burnley Canal Festival

Well, it was the rainiest, windiest, coldest day since our wonderful summer...but we had a BRILLIANT time at Burnley Canal Festival last sunday!
Luckily for the me and the gang, Rachel managed to get a super spot inside the Inn on the Wharf pub to lay out our stall and deliver our arty activity.
So Shona, Shannon and Danielle led a'magnetic poetry' activity and shared their creative skills with friends they had invited along as well as other visitors to the event.

There was such a great atmosphere throughout the day, we all laughed a lot whilst making our ace magnets!

And we finished off with a bit of Talkaoke!

Session 10: A surprising find at Sainsburys!

We had a trip up to Sainsburys today so we could say hello to Vic and Glen while they manned their Ribble Rivers Trust stall. We were delighted to find that there was also a stall outside for a local bird of prey sanctuary. Above is A Harris Hawk and here's Shona holding a Barn Owl...

Inside we found Glen and Vic full of smiles as usual, talking to the shoppers about the Trust's projects. They had a selection of Undercurrents postcards which look beautiful, the girl's were very proud to see their photos printed up for all to see.
After Sainsburys a a quick ice cream we headed down to the River Brun so Caitlin could see the spots we visited during our first river walk.
