So...we did a spot of illustration and collage instead.
I took a photo of each of the girls (including the new member of our gang - Camille Murray, who has just moved over here from France!) and Cassie printed them out A3 size.
We traced the image and then added colourful collaged backgrounds.
Cassie and I also got chance to speak to the girls who are doing their Silver Arts Award about their arts challenge focus. Mhairi is going to concentrate on photographing the river to create a moving image piece which she will create a soundtrack for on violin. Angelica is wanting to focus on anatomical illustration and Molly has already will write a series of monologues relating to the river which she will use to narrate her Super 8 film when it's done.
Dani, Shona-Mae and Shannon weren't around today so we'll have to wait and see what their arts challenges will be...
